(Ok, so after hearing what my amazing friends had to say about my last story, My Life is Over, I decided to write more B/E stuff. Without further ado, here is Love Makes No Sense.)

Bella sat in her room, wondering when Edward was getting back. He had gone hunting, and she always got jumpy when he left. A part of her was waiting for him to leave again. She had been obsessing over him ever since he had come back.
Just as these sad thoughts swirled around inside her head, Bella felt two familiar cold, stone arms wrap around her. She sighed contentedly. "You're back early. Not that I'm complaining"
"I didn't feel like hunting anymore. It feels a little pointless to gorge myself now that we're sure I'm not going to kill you." Edward said, so nonchalantly that Bella wondered if he was sane. Edward never talked like this. "Did I say something wrong?" Edward asked, his voice laced with worry.
Bella looked into his beautiful gold eyes, the murmered, "No. It's just, well, you never talk about your need to eat me. It's just odd to hear, that's all"
After Bella spoke all was quiet. The odd little couple sat in silence until Edward said, "It's strange, isn't it? How two creatures so different can be in love. I've always wondered why people say love makes no sense because, to me, it always had made sense. I always thought love was the most simple thing. How very wrong I was"
Bella turned and pressed her lips against Edward's. He obviously hadn't been expecting that because he drew in a startled breath, but he didn't pull away. As he broke the kiss, Edward asked, "So, does that mean you agree with me"
Bella studied Edwards beautiful face, then said, "yes, I agree with you. Love really doesn't make any sense."

(I know it's short, but I wanted to give everyone who liked My Life is Over something to read. Please REVIEW! Thats what keeps me motivated!)
