A/N: This is just something I wrote like two months ago when I was board in math class. At first it was just about someone dying but then it somehow ended up being about Lulu's final thoughts before he died. Anyway enjoy!=)

I can feel it coming.

I make no effort to evade it.

Not that there's much I could do anyway.

Unlike most, I hold no fear of it.

In fact maybe I welcome it.

It shall liberate me of my sins,

for I can no longer bear to live

with them shadowing over me.

I haven't the courage or the strength

to fight them back any longer.

Nor can I push them onto someone else

as I have been.

I don't even flinch when it reaches

to touch me with it's fingertips.

Even as I lay here now

I show an act of cowerdice.

Leaving behind the people I love

to pick up the pieces

of the world that I shattered,

and recreate it.

I knew this would happen

and I was fully prepared for it.

I lament on my life

as it encases me in it's arms.

They wrap around me

like ribbons on a gift.

My skin grows cold

but I feel a strange warmth.

My eyes fall upon a timid baby bird

that once had broken wings.

My entire reason for what I've done.

I'm so sorry.

Please forgive me.

I'm sorry.

I know this hurt you.

I'm sorry.

I know you don't understand.

I'm sorry.

And to my friend who I forced to live,

I'm sorry.

Now you carry my burden.

I'm sorry.

Lastly to the world:

This is it.

The man you saw as your greatest enemy

is now your savior.

A/N: I thought I should explain it just in case some of you don't completely understand. It's obvious to me but that may just be because I wrote it. Anyway in the begining Lulu is talking about how he's so accepting of his death because it will free him of the sins he commited and how he can't keep making others do his dirty work for him. He's goes on to say how he's a cowered since he's dying and leaving the people he cares for behind to fx the world and how this was all part of his plan. Then he appologizes to Nunaly, who was the reason he started all this, saying sorry that she's been hurt. Then he says sorry to Suzaku for using his geass on him and making him kill him. At the end when he's talking about the world's enemy becomming their savior he's refering to Zero who was a known terrorist but is now killing Lulu who the world has turned against.
