Pie Eating Vampire
I ran around my house desperately trying to find it. It was missing and I was late. The phone rang. "What now?" I said outloud though I knew no one was listening. I checked the caller ID. It was my sister Kristi. I picked up the reciever and yelled into it: "I'm coming! I'm coming!" though truthfully I wasn't, not yet. I ran over to the oven ad jerked it open. It was empty, still. I'm not sure what I was expecting. I'd checked there over ten times already. I had to find it, it was a main part in our family get togethers. I was sure I had left it in the oven over night. I knew I was the only one in my house. Or was I?
I looked around myself. The first person that came to mind was the new guy down the hall. Carlisle, was his name. Everyone thought he was normal, though unbelievably handsome, but I had done my homework. I knew what he really was: a vampire, a pie eating vampire.
I looked at my watch I was already ten minutes late.
My whole family thought I baked the pies I brought though, truthfully, I just bought them from the local bakery. I grabbed my appartment keys so I could go get another. I ran to the door and jerked the handle. It was stuck. I jerked harder, then again my hardest. I couldn't open it. I was trapped. He, Carlisle, had locked me in my own appartment! He had probably taken it! I should have known it would come to this. Now my pie and my life were in danger.
I suddenly felt like I was being watched. Like I was surrounded by just him. Although I knew he did not litteraly surround me I knew he was fast enough to stop me where ever I went.
The lights flickered off. I screamed. It was an ear-piercing scream. I hoped it would damage his ears. I hoped he withered in pain from the sound of my scream. The lights flickered back on. It was across the room from me! I ran over to it but he stood in front of me. Unable to react as quickly as him I ran strait into his hard cold body. I fell on my back. I stared up at him with a pain filled expression. He turned around and did something I couldn't see. Then he turned turned around so fast I couldn't see it. He stared into my eyes for a second before leaving in another blur.
I walked over to it carefuly. A slice was missing. "So that's he'd been doing" I said aloud again. Maybe this time Carlisle was listening. I picked up a phone and dialed my sister's number. It rang a few times before she picked up.
"Where are you?" she asked obviously annoyed.
"I'm not coming. Something came up."
"What? What's wrong?" She asked sounding worried now.
"It's nothing umm...my car broke down" I lied "I can't come I'm sorry."
"Alright well see you soon sis"
"You too. Bye."
I hung up the phone and walked across the room and grabbed it. I plopped down on the couch with a fork. I took a huge bite of it.
"Yumm...my pie!"
