Disclaimer: I don't own anything.

This story is for my friend, Super 'Laine. That is what we call her, no true names here. This is my first yaoi, and A.R. does not like Hiei in this one, and Dante doesn't like Kurama. It is only going to be one Chappie long; I don't want another story to write.

It was a beautiful winter Saturday; well, not so beautiful to Hiei. He despised the snow. It was so white and cold. But somehow, he liked the way the white reminded him of Youko Kurama's hair. The soft white flurries drifted over the window.

Kurama was saying goodbye to his guests. The Reikai Tantei had a small Christmas party. It was over and the only exciting things that happened were Dante lighting the tree on fire and A.R. having to stop the drunk Amiee ((it was a new moon))from freezing Kuwabara.

Kurama shut the door quietly and sat down. He brushed away a smoldered ash from the arm of the chair. Hiei got up and started walking up the stairs. ((I assume that he has a two story house))

Kurama smiled at the fire demon. He noticed something about where he stood on the stairs.

"Hiei?" he said, following Hiei up the stairs. The youkai stopped and turned around. Kurama jogged up the stairs toward him. His crimson hair almost floating behind his pink face. His emerald eyes fell upon the ruby ones of Hiei. His face expressionless.

"What fox?" he asked. The kitsune stopped only a few steps below Hiei. They were the exact same height now. They're faces were a foot away though.

Kurama smiled and kissed the fire demon. Hiei was taken back by the gesture but instantly started to close his eyes as Kurama was still holding his position. The fire demon slowly slipped his tongue into Kurama's mouth.

They parted for breath. Hiei looked at the blushing fox. "What was that for?" he asked. Kurama smiled again and pointed up. He looked up to see a plant hanging from the ceiling by a red ribbon. Hiei looked at the kitsune, puzzled.

"It's called mistletoe. Nungiens put them up. When someone stands under the mistletoe, they get kissed by the closest person," he said still smiling. Hiei smirked and whispered, "Stupid nungien customs."

He kissed Kurama. They stood there for a few seconds. Hiei noticed that they were leaning. He fell backwards, Kurama fell forwards. They landed next to each other.

Hiei's bandana was a little messed up, showing his jagan. Kurama's ruby hair fell all over his shoulders. He lifted his head and smiled. They couldn't helped it, they laughed.

Hiei helped Kurama up and they smiled. The little stem of mistletoe fell onto Hiei's head. Hanging from one of his spikes. Kurama smiled sweetly, showing his white teeth. Hiei plucked the plant from his hair and looked at it.

With a small smile, he threw it off the stairs and grabbed Kurama by the shoulders and kissed him again.

Kurama and Hiei embraced each other and soon were walking to Kurama's room, smiling.
