His name is James Robert McCrimmon, Jamie to those who knew him. There are so many he doesn't know of: lost friends, lost memories. He has night terrors, long before people know what they are or how to help. He can't remember when they started, if he always had them, but worst of all he can't remember them. The people in town can hear him sometimes at night, his screams of terror.

Though if they knew his nightmares they'd either take it as a sign from god or that they had to commit him. Because in his nightmares There are giant machines that fly, aliens that exterminate, Cyber people who are no longer people but, who delete everything without emotion, and Giant furry creatures. His terrors feel so real as if he was there, if only he knew he had been. They were memories, his memories of a life forced behind him.

His nightmares are memories and what could have been. He doesn't know the difference though it doesn't matter. It's not as he would remember when he woke up. His nightmares often include: a dark haired older man and a younger fair haired brash man in pain dying and, there's nothing he can do. A young girl, an american who needs help but he is trapped by some invisible wall. A blonde man and woman in desperate need of his help but he can't read how to. A young intelligent woman who needs his help to escape but he's trapped. Then the most painful to his heart is a beautiful girl he seems unable to catch up to, who is shot by a beam of light. Though when he reaches her, collapses and always dies in his arms. Her last words are always "Jamie i lo-" nothing more, nothing less in her angelic voice.

He jumps awake once more over the loss of his mystery girl unaware of why. Though he trembles and shakes he, is calmed by the look of his wife. Her blue eyes always stunning, serene and knowing. She pulls him close in a knowing comforting embrace. As she does often and whispers "I love you Jamie" an echo of his dreams but, it calms him.

Once he catches his breath he whispers in her ear "I love you too Victoria". Not knowing the mystery girl he grieves is his comforter and love.
