Prologue
In October, 1985, Marty McFly had seen his best friend Doc Brown fly away on a time traveling train with his family. In the long time after that, he had waited for any sign of his old friend, but there was no sign of him. While Marty waited for any sign of his friend, he was living his life to the fullest, in a future much different than the one Doc and Jennifer saw in 2015.
Marty ended up graduating that summer and got into University of Sacramento, the same school Jennifer was going to. Marty had discovered a knack for writing that past summer, so he figured he should just improve by going on a journalism degree. Marty was still in his band, but it was more of a hobby now. Jennifer was going for a psychology major and had her sights on her own practice.
21/2 years after starting college, Marty proposed to Jennifer. They were married 6 months after that while they were still in school. 3 months after their marriage, Jennifer found out she was pregnant.
Marty and Jennifer had little Jean Lorraine McFly about a month early. Marty was confused that they had a baby so early when in 2015, his son looked his age. He figured they must have more kids than Doc told him. He had no idea how right he would be.
In 1991, after Marty had graduated, Jennifer became pregnant again. Although she already had one kid to take care of, she was still pursuing her psychiatry degree, now she decided she would take a year off after she had this baby. Kyle William McFly was born right on schedule, beginning Jennifer's hiatus.
After Marty had graduated, he got a job at a local newspaper, and a few years later, he got a job at a local television station. Marty was a little apprehensive about leaving Hill Valley, but he had a feeling Doc would've been back by now if he was coming back, so he decided to move on. Marty's band ended up breaking up right before he graduated, but he still liked to sing and play guitar in his spare time.
After her hiatus, Jennifer went back to school for two more years before she got her degree. She ended getting a job at a local psychiatrist's office and did very well a that, until she got pregnant again in '95.
Marlene Esme McFly was born in 1995 as the McFly's third child. Jennifer decided to be a stay at home mom after that.
In 1996, Marty was offered a job at the Washington D.C. bureau of CNN. Marty took the job in Washington as the part of the White House press pool. He turned out to be the youngest on in the press pool, which was also a tremendous honor.
5 years after their 4th child, Marty Seamus McFly Jr., was born in 1998, Jennifer opened an in-house psychiatry office so that she could work and be with the kids at the same time.
In all this time, the McFlys never told their children about their adventures with the time machine and Doc Brown. Little did they know that they would soon find out on their own.
