Dean is technically guilty as charged...but in reality, he is a hero...how can he ever hope to escape the laws that are supposed to protect but in actuality, they only hinder what he does for a living...the family busness...saving people, hunting things..

Guilty As Charged…

"Dean Winchester…you have been brought before the court today, charged with the Murder in the First, Manslaughter, Grave Desecration, multiple counts of Credit Card Fraud, and Assault and Battery in the First Degree…how do you plead?"

"The Defendant pleads Not Guilty by Reason of Mental Defect or Disease. He is awaiting evaluation by the resident Psychologist at the Tascadero Institution for the Mental Health and Hygiene…he is being housed in the Maximum Security wing of the facility….he is under constant sedation and lockdown… We wish to request that he continue to be remanded there for duration of these proceedings."

"Dually noted counselor…after reading the reports of his condition and state of mind when apprehended, I must say I agree that is the safest place to house him…it appears he has been in custody of several police stations, and jails and has escaped them all…I am here by granting request for continued remand to the Tascadero facility until it can be determined whether or not he is fit to stand trial…this court will be adjourned until such time as his mental capacity has been assessed. Next case please…"
