"All right, guys, our practice time's over. That was good, I think we can win this one tomorrow!" Oliver's voice echoes through the Quiddich field, and my mind snaps back into the world around me. I've just been sitting here watching the Quiddich practice, but mostly watching Oliver. It's fascinating watching him play Quiddich. It almost seems as if the game was made for him, he enjoys it so much. It makes me smile. I feel a bit wistful when I look at him, I don't really know why. I've never had this feeling before. "Hey, Luna!" He calls out to me, and I begin to smile, until I realise I'm the only one left sitting in the bleachers and it has started to rain. It wasn't a special hello just for me, then. It was to tell me to go in before it starts to pour. "You gonna come in or stay out here in the rain?" He smiles at me and walks up the steps, sitting down next to me. "You know, sometimes I like sitting in the rain too. It's refreshing - the smell, the sound, the feeling of it, everything." There's lightning in the sky, and he laughs, "Not when there's a storm though, mind you!" I laugh too, and then look at him. He looks back. For a few seconds, we look into each other's eyes. I notice his brown eyes have a few flecks of gold in them. His eyelashes are long. I'm entranced, and then our contact is suddenly broken as he looks away. "Well, we better go in!" He says, getting up. He's waiting for me so I get up too. I know us ever being together isn't really a possibility. I'm just Loony Lovegood, and he's the captain of the Gryffindor Quiddich team. It's also his last year at Hogwarts. At least he treats me like I'm a normal person, not the lunatic everyone thinks me to be. "Well then, I guess I'll see you later!" He smiles and turns to go. I smile. I guess, for now, I'm happy living in my own world where everything happens the way I dream it to. Maybe one day some of those things might even become a reality. I skip off to the Ravenclaw common room. I daydream the best when there's the sound of rain outside.
