It was dark. It was dark, and lonley and so very, very cold. He could feel it, feel the cold seeping through his skin, freezing his heart and turning his blood to ice. He wandered, alone in the dark, but not quite alone. Fear, Pain and Betrayal nipped at his heels, keeping him going, never letting him stop, never giving him a respite.

And yet, all was not lost. For in the darkness, there was light. It was faint, and weak, like the first rays of the sun, but it was there all the same. And with it came Love, Joy and Friendship.

And so all was not lost- not truly. For though it was Dark, it would not last. The Light would come, and banish away The Dark.

And so, he walked on, waiting for The Light- waiting for The Dawn to come, and with it a new day.
