A/N This one is unbelievably short, but so fluffy, and cute.

It was late, Emma had dozed off about six times so far during the show. Seriously... she and her twenty-one year old girlfriend were watching Animal Planet at twelve thirty on a Saturday night.

"Can we at least go to bed?" The blonde proposed against the top of Ruby's head. Drawing small pointless patterns on Ruby's back. Something she knew she loved. "I mean I'm falling asleep right here... But the bed is bigger."

"But Emma... They're going to do lemurs next..." Ruby bounced a little bit. Sitting up on the sheriff's hips.

"What is your obsession with lemurs?" Emma questioned, letting her hands slide down from the brunette's back to rest on her hips. "I mean... you call me your lemur.., but you've never told me why?"

Ruby pushed her jaw to one side, a thoughtful frown creasing her brow. The words themselves could have been a lot less nice. But the way Emma said them, slow, and running together just a bit with the sleep still heavy in her head. It was adorable.

"Well you know when me and Granny had our big fight? The one that started this." Ruby gestured between them. A smile already on her lips at the memory.

"Yes." Emma nodded, her sluggish sleepy brain very happy that Ruby was going slow about this.

"Well it kind of started because I was... talking to August about his adventures." Ruby paused for a moment at the crinkled nose Emma gave her when she stretched talking, as if replacing another word with it. But continued. "Well he was telling me about lemurs... How he saw like... a bunch of them in the dark with their reflective eyes... Well when I got mad at Granny I said I should be having adventures with lemurs."

Emma let out a harsh exhale of air, a barely concealed laugh. Which earned her a swat on the arm.

"You know I just say what's bouncing around in me head when I'm worked up. I wouldn't have told you I loved for much longer if I didn't." Emma nodded to that rather aggressively. Remembering the occasion that had gotten Ruby worked up enough for her to blurt it out.

"How does this make me your lemur?" She asked, pushing the story on, and away from subjects that could get her hit.

"Well... You were my adventure. Are my adventure." Ruby sunk back down against Emma. Burying her face in the blonde's hair. Thoughts about what had gotten her in such a good mood the morning she went to apologize to Granny.

"I'm an adventure?" Emma responded rather skeptically. Unsure of what that meant.

"Yes..." Ruby turned her head to rest her cheek to Emma's chest. "Love is an adventure right?"
