Hey! Okay, so I know I haven't written anything for way too long, but I've recently become obsessed with Flashpoint and this just kind of popped into my head. Reviews are appreciated!

One

"Team one, hot call. Gear up."

Michelangelo Scarlatti's life has not been an easy one. His mother's gone, his father's passed, and sometimes he just feels alone. His job can be tough and, at most points, a bit risky. However, despite all of that, he carries an abundance of energy and cheeriness, his uniform and ever-present grin always displaying his title. SRU Constable and Comic Relief.

"Spike, Sam: stealth approach, rear entry. Don't spook him."

When his mother moved back to her roots in Italy, he could understand. Pa was gone and everything was just different. So he moved out, learned how to do his own laundry (and to not shrink his pants), is sticking to microwave-dinners and Ramen noodles, and tried desperately to become used to the silence that is his new apartment.

"Spike, what do we got?"

"Bomb; and Bossit's big."

"Sam?"

"Subject contained. Spike, you good?"

"One man down range, Samtastic."

Michelangelo Scarlatti, Spike, is a rare soul. He loves his job; he loves what his job stands for. And though his father died despising it, his job saved him. When he was alone, when he was mourning, SRU is what picked up the pieces. His team; his family.

"Spike, twelve seconds."

"I only need five, Boss."

"Spike, get out of there."

Silence.

He will do whatever it takes to save an innocent. Whether that means injury or pain or death; as long as he does his job, nothing else really matters.

"Spike!"
