I walked through the rubble of Skuldafn, wearing my signature set of enchanted Blades armor, which allowed me to be immune to dragons' breath and the majority of magic. I had my ancient Nord greatsword, improved in the fires of the Skyforge buckled over my shoulder, underneath the Shield of Ysgramor, with my two one handed weapons, the ancient Nord blade Eduj and the ancient Nord axe Okin, taken from the remains of Kvenel the Tongue in Volunruud hanging at my hips. I was headed for the portal to Skuldafn, Odahviing having flown me yet again. I was not worried about being ambushed, because I had already cleared out the ruin, the first time I went to Sovngarde. Once a month, I returned to the Nordic afterlife to see my dead lover, Gormlaith Golden-Hilt. At the same time, I was working on a way to bring her back to Tamriel. I traveled to the Hall of Valor, and pushed open the doors.
