No One
You and me together No one, no one, no one
Through the days and nights
I don't worry 'cause
Everything's going to be alright
People keep talking they can say what they like
But all I know is everything's going to be alright
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one, no one, no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you
Can get in the way of what I feel
They lay together in bed, listening to the pit-pat of the rain hitting the window. The winds howled outside, tree branches thrashing mildly, but it didn't matter about the storm, because they had each other.
They were cradled in each other's arms. Percy's hands resting on Annabeth's slightly swollen stomach, his face nestled in her hair, his nose and lips barely touching her neck. Annabeth was hugging Percy's bare chest, her ear against his heart so she could hear the soft "thu-thump, thu-thump." She absentmindedly kissed his strong stomach, cuddling closer to him so she could feel more of his warmth.
In between them, the unborn baby tapped out against Percy. Percy smiled, and a pure look of love appeared in his eyes. He gently nuzzled Annabeth's stomach, near the place the baby boy kicked. Annabeth couldn't help the little moan that escaped her lips.
So, there they were, lying next to each other in the storm, but it didn't matter, because they had each other. They didn't care that their parents were angry at them for having the baby or that they were even dating in the first place. It didn't matter.
No one couldn't get in the way of what they were feeling, because they had each other, and that's all that mattered.
