It's not that she doesn't love Maya. She adores her sister, and she does still watch over her occasionally. But there are so many spirits watching Maya. Generations of the Fey family, with hushed whispers and uncertain murmurs. None of them seemed to believe Maya was fit to be the heir. She never liked Kurain anyway, it was too stuffy and traditional for her.

Sometimes she'll go see a movie - they were showing an old favorite of hers recently, but the name escapes her. Other times she'll linger around places that were dear to her. But often times she finds herself watching over Phoenix.

She's seen his highs and his lows. The company he keeps, and the ghosts travel with them, have changed as time passes. There's one constant though: the Edgeworth family.

She's quite fond of her fellow defense attorney. She hadn't really expected to form any new friendships in the afterlife, but it was a pleasant surprise. For a while they'd talk about their own lives, what they had done and who they had left behind. Later they'd talk about the law, a shared interest between them. Now they mainly talk about Miles and Phoenix.

Miles was still a bit skeptical about this, but they both had agreed upon it. They didn't think it was right for Mia or Gregory to miss their wedding.

"I'm glad I could finally meet you in person. Mr. Edgeworth." Was the first thing Mia said, grinning.
