There really isn't anything wrong.
He tries to tell himself this, every day he tells himself. Lying, despite what parents and teachers and all other do-right authority figures say, comes very naturally. Especially when lying to yourself.
It makes it easier, it does. Makes it easier to not see them together, to not notice that look in his eye.
Because Remus is looking at the wrong person, he's looking at her.
Because, when Remus takes notice of Sirius, something shatters inside Sirius.
And when Remus smiles, that smile, now that smile makes Sirius feel he's been punched in the chest.
Because it's not his smile anymore, not now that he's shown it to her.
And Sirius just tries to act happy, he tries to laugh and talk, but it just won't come.
Because now, even when Remus is here, he isn't here, not with Sirius. He's with her; thinking of her.
And Sirius is left alone. And it's just the same as it's always been.
So, everything IS wrong.
Because sometimes, it's easier to think that it isn't.
Reviews are always nice :)
