My theory on Total Drama: Chris is a serial killer.
Here's my reasoning: Chris is an escape convict that went to jail for stealing millions of dollars and hardware supplies. So, he bought an island and set up a reality show where he could random the teens. He lied to the contestants saying that they would win money, but it was actually just a ploy to kill them all. The "eliminations" are actually the contestants dying. For everyone contestant dead, the longer the contestants want to stay alive. Eva and Izzy were never brought back. They were just kept somewhere, and just kept around until it was their time to die.
The reality show was actually broadcast live to show the families what he had done. The only way the police weren't able to find him was because he managed to camouflage the island to where nobody can see it, for example: in the Season 1 episode, Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island. Courtney finds out the whole thing is fake after running into a painted wall and on the other side was the real world.
I know what you are thinking. 'but how come everyone was still there during the finale and the scavenger hunt for the million.' Well, when the killing ceremonies came, he didn't kill them right away, he managed to put the into a state of unconsciousness until they were needed to be brought back. But since nobody got the million, he killed them all.
But what about World Tour? Well, Sierra and Alejandro were real, but they never interacted with the other cast members. Sierra was actually a schizophrenic that imagined she was talking to them and stirring up drama. Alejandro went along with it because it made her happy.
Total Drama Revenge of the Island was where he actually got caught in the final. He was charged with murder and the putting the teens on a radioactive island. It was also a way of killing the teens with use of the hazards there: mustang animals, the forest where they tried to get the flower from the plant, and the mine.
All Stars never happened. It was just a dream he had while he was in prison.
Pahkitew Island happened when he escaped from prison the second time. He made the island as a new means of killing the new cast. He hired Scarlett to help kill the when the time was right, and when the others found out. That time had come.
But what about Chef and Blaineley? Well, they were both hostages. He kidnapped them in order to help him kill the contestants.
But what about when Leonard, Geoff, Noah and Owen went on the Ridonculous Race. That is because they escaped the island before Chris can kill them. Geoff mentioning Bridgette in the first episode is his way of never getting over the loss of his girlfriend.
Anne Maria's cameo is because she also escaped. But Chris had been hiding in the final of Ridonculous Race, in hopes of killing his previous contestants.
