A little quick something that came to mind, I've had a few in my head but this one wanted to be the first, I've got another getting written, so hopefully this will be the first of a few!

Touchwood!

Anyway, please read and enjoy.

The moonlight was shining, creating an eerily white hue to every surface that it's beams caressed with its ghostly touch. The small china figure brushed himself off, thankful for the dead leaves that had broken his fall. Wondering where he was he brushed a tree branch out of the way. Glancing up he saw that he was definitely in an old abandoned garden. Confused he let his addled brain click back into function. Pushing through the scattered, low dipping branches of the tired old oak tree he crunched through the dry leaves.

Suddenly there was the sound of baked clay chipping across course stone brick of the age-old wall. Intrigued he pushed forwards, to see an object running at quite a pace across the uneven top of old dark stone. His interest was peaked even further as he realised that the figure had to be a gnome.

What was a gnome doing out at this time of night?

Was it a red? And what did it want?

A piece clicked into his brain and he started to run adjacent to the figure, staying out of sight as best as he could. As started to run he spotted an old abandoned greenhouse. The moonlight was reflected off the old run down glass. It was broken in numerous places, and the signs of decay had been ignored, turning into prominent features. The crispy white beams struck the glass, creating prism's of stark white light. His eyes suddenly spotted it.

A Cubid's Arrow Orchid! Putting on a burst of speed the young gnome pushed on through the old broken leaves and twigs, his feet cruching noisily over the scattered debris of many years regeneration.

He grinned as he saw a easy access. The glass was in traditional panels, each separated with a metal strip. Gnomeo turned the corner, still keeping one eye on the mysterious black figure. He almost stumbled and his mouth dropped in slight awe as it leapt over the gap between the wall and the greenhouse. Throwing himself haphazardly at the glass his large fingers scrabbled for a hold, but soon enough his fingers clutched the cool metal of the supports. Heaving himself upwards he launched himself up, scrambling up the side of the greenhouse. Desperate to catch another sight of the strange, Gnome In Black.

He let out a triumphant gasp as he hauled himself onto the partly transparent roof. Jumping forwards he let out a joyous yell as - he finally felt free. The figure was actually quite, curvatous, and he realised that it was a female! What type of girl would be out at this time in the night?

She was making a beeline for the solitary plant growing on the roof, it's innocent beauty unaware of the consequences it was going to cause. He propelled himself forwards with his weight, just as she lurched towards it.

Time seemed to stop as they grabbed it at exactly the same moment.

His eyes met with the mystery gnomes, bottle blue and deep oak leaf emerald. His heart momentarily stopped.

Love at first sight was no longer just a saying.

Hello, Oh, hello.

Wow that was quick! Please review, I've taken a little bit of a different writing style to this, and I'm not really sure about how it's turned out. Hope you liked it.
