Tsunade enjoyed going to the bar. Unfortunately she came home drunk most of those nights. She always left her two year old home alone when she went out and when she got back home, she ignored her daughter. This habit of Tsunade's soon got pretty out of hand.
As usual, before Tsunade went out for the night, she changed Keiko and put her in a closed off room to play while, then she went out. Keiko didn't like when Tsunade went out. She always was alone and Tsunade was never there when she needed her. Keiko whined at Tsunade about not leaving, but Tsunade left anyways.
Keiko was on her own, again. Since she was only two years old, she really had no idea what was going on. Keiko went off and did the usual when Tsunade left. She played with her toys, took a nap, and then tried to figure out how to get past the baby gate that kept her locked in the room she was in.
Soon, Tsunade came home, drunk. When Keiko heard Tsunade walk in the door, she ran up to the gate and cried to get out. Keiko was really hungry. Tsunade walked by Keiko like she didn't even exist, and went off into her room.
This made Keiko really upset. Keiko started whining and crying even harder. Still no response from Tsunade. Then Keiko tried to get past the gate again. She tried pushing it, she tried kicking it, and she tried pulling it open. So she tried to climb it. When she did, Tsunade came out of her room.
"Hey! What are you doing," Tsunade drunkenly snapped at Keiko. Keiko stopped climbing and whined at Tsunade to pick her up. Keiko was hungry and she needed something to eat. Tsunade got part of the point and picked Keiko up.
Keiko looked at her mother hungrily and whined. Tsunade had no idea what Keiko wanted, so she ignored her. Keiko then tried to breast feed, by suckling on Tsunade's shirt. Tsunade slightly smacked Keiko and told her to stop.
"Are you hungry?" Tsunade sweetly asked Keiko. She was starting to sober up a bit. Enough to realize that she needed to take care of Keiko. "Well, are you?" Tsunade asked again.
Keiko looked at Tsunade, sadly, and nodded yes. Tsunade took Keiko into the kitchen and warmed her up a bottle of milk. Keiko was really hungry, but she didn't really want the bottle. She thought Tsunade would give her the bottle and leave.
Tsunade didn't. She took Keiko into the living room and sat on the couch. She held Keiko gently and fed her the bottle. Keiko was happy. Her mother was holding her, and feeding her a warm bottle of milk. Keiko really enjoyed these days. It was rare when Tsunade would pay attention to Keiko. It was really rare when Tsunade held, and fed Keiko.
Soon, Keiko happily fell asleep in Tsunade's arms with a full stomach.
