A/N: Hope you all like. Just a little idea that came to me.

Mackenzie did not want to think of herself as a cheater she wanted to think of herself as her work alter ego which seemed to have most shit together most of the wakening hours. She wanted to be a go-getter in her personal life like she was in her work life. Was it to hard to ask for her two worlds to mingle and learn from each other?

She knew if Will and her got together now things would different. They both know what they want and they both know each other so well. There was no reason Mackenzie could think of other then differences at work and the past history that could keep herself and Will apart.

Mackenzie had no one to relapse to. There was no one that rejected her. She couldn't be afraid of Will this time because to much time had settled for her to realize he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her days with.

All the stars seemed to be lining up for the two of them in her head but reality is much harder than dreaming. She had no idea what Will was thinking even on a good day. She had a staff to think about. What if something did go wrong? What if what if what if… The list of what ifs was blurring her main goal. Go and get him.

Now she started to over think. In her kitchen of her tiny apartment she reached for a wine glass and wine and started to drink pacing around her living area.

She thought to herself and then out loud. Playing different scenarios in her head. Another obstacle. Does she just head over to his apartment and beg for his forgiveness? Does she just jump on him and start to kiss him? Does she keep waiting?

She made up her mind and with the newfound confidence called red wine flowing though her system she made it to his door. By passing the doorman that she knew telling him Will didn't know she was coming and she didn't want him to know just incase she decided to leave.

He let her in and she headed up to his apartment. The elevator ride brought back fond memories. The dates where they started undressing each other in the elevator because they couldn't wait till they got inside his apartment to start. The awkward first elevator ride down after spending her first night with Will. Then a not so nice memory. The time she had to ride the elevator alone with half her stuff because he just kicked her out after she told him about Brian.

The elevator dinged thank God because she almost turned around after thinking about that dreadful night. Mackenzie walked up his door and knocked but no one was there or he didn't want to be disturbed. The doorman she ran into outside was only on duty for about 10 minutes when she got there so he wouldn't of known that he wasn't up there.

All her confidence was wearing off and she almost wanted to call it a night. It was stupid of her to even think that this was going to work. She turned from the door and there he was standing in front of her.

"Billy," She got all excited and ran toward him. Her plan was to jump and kiss him because maybe a spark would fly of something.

She ran and he opened him arms to catch her as a natural habit. She kissed him straight on the lips. He put him hands on her back and kissed her back but then his hands were on her shoulders pushing her way from him.

"Mackenzie what the fuck," He looked straight into her eyes.

Mackenzie McHale was speechless maybe for the first time in her whole life. She just wanted to get out of there. She didn't think of what she would do when she initially kissed him. She started to walk away.

"Wait, come back here," Mackenzie sulked and turned around and walked back.

Will pulled her in close.

"I wish I had the same amount of courage that you just had"
