Preventers:

Wind-Zechs

Water- Sally Po

Fire- Noin

Day at the office

The mission had been easy enough, if a little unusual. Preventers Wind and Fire weren't often paired with agents 01 and 03. But Quatre had to attend the colony summit (along with Relena, and possibly Dorothy) Preventers Water and agent 05 were serving as security at that self-same summit, and Duo (whom Une usually partnered with Heero) had come down with the flu.

Their plan was typical. Get in, get out; as quickly and quietly as possible with the least amount of fuss. The documents the four would procure from the manor would provide enough solid evidence for Une to issue arrest warrants. (She would, of course, later deny that any agents of hers had broken into the home of a private citizen.)

They had all made it inside the private residence (despite heavy security) without any problems, collected evidence that would incriminate the less-than-legitimate owner and made it halfway back across the (extensive) grounds before the alarms went off. Then it was a mad dash for the wall.

Heero and Trowa arrived first, each going down on one knee and forming a cup with their hands to boost first Noin (carrying the incriminating documents) then Zechs. (The Lightning Count was no feather-weight, but working together the pilots had little trouble getting the taller man on top of the old-fashioned brick wall.) Neither boy any trouble getting to the top on his own, even when the shooting started.

Zechs covered Noin until she was safely down on the other side, not noticing how his hair caught in the barbed wire crowning the eight-foot tall, half-foot wide fence until he tried to jump down himself.

Hearing Zech's half-strangled cry Trowa maintained fire while Heero quickly grabbed his knife, cut the fist-full of hair in one smooth swipe and hauled Zechs over the wall, Trowa following quickly.

It wasn't until they were all back at the pre-arranged rendezvous point, waiting for Commander Une to sweep in with the calvary and arrest warrants that Zechs felt the back of his head and began to swear. Noin scowled at his language. Heero had cut so close to Zechs's scalp that there was now a gap in the man's glorious, platinum blonde mane, nearly two inches wide, that was almost bald.

Trowa tried valiantly to suppress a snicker, and as he met Heero's eyes from across the room, he could have sworn the Perfect Soldier smirked.
