Narrator: School was out for the summer and the students of Pigmole School of Magic and Mayhem were having fun outdoors, whether they were doing homework under a tree or flying on their magical mops in open fields. We find our two favorite Pigmole students at Don's house, also known as "The Furrow"

(Scene: Outside Don's house)

Don: (blushing) Well, here's my house. It's not much, with my 5 brothers staying here for vacation.

Mary: It's fantastic, Don, don't be so modest.

Don: I guess it's okay. It must be better than the broom closet you live in.

Mary: Definitely. But I don't have a ghost in the attic, but then again, my cousin does make as much noise. (Laugh)

Don: Want to go up to my room? I can show you my toads.

Mary: Sure, let's go.

(Scene: Don's room)

Don: Here my room and in the corner are the toads. My brothers, Greg and Forge, found them for me.

Mary: Yeah, they're cool. Hey, that one looks like Professor McGomacle!

Don: (Apprehensive) Hey, my brothers found something else, too. (Pulls out cigarettes from a drawer)

Mary: Are those...cigarettes?

Don: Yeah, they found them outside. Do you want to...y'know...try one or something?

Mary: No! Cigarettes are horrible for kids our age. They're bad for our looks and our health.

Don: But, I don't know...I guess they make us look older.

Mary: You may think they look cool now, but what happens when school starts and your teeth are yellow because of them? I know you want to ask someone to the Christmas dance next year. You won't get a date with smelly yellow teeth, breath, and clothes.

Don: That's what my brothers said...they also said cigarettes are bad for our health, is that true?

Mary: That's right, cigarettes hurt your lungs, along with your teeth and gums. I know I wouldn't want to go to the dentist more than twice a year.

Don: Yeah.

Mary: They can also make your skin yellow-y.

Don: Ewww! Why would anyone want to smoke?

Mary: They don't think about the damage it does to your body. Plus, they don't think about how disappointed their parents will be when they find out.

Don: That's true. What should I do with them?

Mary: Well, If you throw them away yourself your mom could find them and think you're smoking. If I were you I'd bring them to my parents and explain that you found them. They might give you a lecture like mine but they know what they're doing.

Don: Alright, thanks Mary! I'm going downstairs to have a talk with my parents! (Runs downstairs)

Mary: (Speaking to audience) Well, another problem solved. Hm, maybe I should write a book about this. (Walks offstage)

Narrator: So, today Don found out the disadvantages of smoking. They ruin your appearance, harm your health, and disappoint your parents. If you think about it, smoking is more harmful than helpful. Listen to Mary Cotter, protect your youth and don't smoke.
