Love.
Love can be an amazing thing…well, when you find that one person to share it with. She thought she found him, but then he leaves. How could someone you love so much, just get up and leave you without a trace? Sharpay Evans, did in fact love someone. You're thinking 'the Ice Princess can actually love someone?' Well, yes, she can and love someone was what she did. His name was Jake Green and he was everything she could hope for in a guy. He was athletic, playing basketball on the team, he even danced. He was perfect for her, and he just got up and left. Sharpay was heartbroken, but she wouldn't show it. No chance, no way.
Now to the story.
"Watch out! Ice Princess coming through!" The normal yells were heard around the school, mostly from the basketball thunderheads. Sharpay simply held her head high and walked down the hallway, her twin brother, Ryan trailing behind her. Her eyes shot towards the basketball team. Troy Bolton, he wasn't so bad, and of course now that Gabriella was out of the picture..maybe..just maybe. Her eyes then went to Chad Danforth. Oh, how Sharpay hated him, with a sick and ugly passion. Infact, Sharpay hated most of the basketball team, especially after Jake left. Jake was the only one of those lunkhead basketball guys who actually looked beyond Sharpay's icy personality and into her dark and troubled soul.
"Hey Pay, are you ready for the auditions today?" Ryan asked as they got to their destination of the lockers. "Of course." Sharpay said with a smirk. Opening her locker she took out her fuzzy pink notebook with the matching pen. "To homeroom." She said tossing some blonde hair over her shoulder as she made her way down the hallway.
"Out of my way." Sharpay said putting up both her hands as if to make a seperation in the hallway of people, and strangely it worked. "Of course." She said to herself as she entered Ms. Darbus's classroom. Sitting down in her normal, seat with Ryan behind her, she took out her pink sidekick with the diamonds and rhinestones on it. Her fingers worked at a speed un-normal to the human being. As she finished replying to her text message she felt eyes watching her. "Take a picture, Bolton. It will last longer." Sharpay said in her normal icey tone. Smirking to herself as she felt the eyes remove from her body. Of course she knew it was Troy Bolton, he was always looking at her.
Ms. Darbus entered the classroom as the bell rang. "Welcome to another day of school." She said in a dramatic, yet cheerful tone. "As most of you know, today are the auditions for the Spring Musical." Ms. Darbus said exaggerating on the word musical. Her eyes glanced down to Troy and then shifted over to Gabriella who sat in the far back of the classroom. "I'm hoping to see many of you there." She finished.
Troy glanced over at Chad and he nodded, which meant one thing. Troy Bolton would be auditioning for the school musical. Sharpay watched this, her chocolate brown eyes narrowing. "Troy Bolton will not be in our show." She hissed to Ryan who nodded in agreement. There was no chance in hell that they would lose out to Troy Bolton and whatever bimbo he decided to audition with this year. Sharpay scoffed and turned her attention to the door. She could have sworn she just saw…nah, she couldn't have. "Cool it Pay, you're losing it." Sharpay said biting her lower lip as her eyes shifted to the clock.
Finally the bell rang, and a rush began to get out of the classroom.
