"Luigi, when was the last time you paid for the electricity?" Falco asked as he, Luigi, and Jigglypuff were all sitting on the couch of the small house they shared just east of the Melee All Star meadow.
"Err... I don't remember. I think I paid it in... 1998?" Luigi blurted out while plucking his mustache.
"You... haven't been paying for our electricity?" Jigglypuff questioned as she was dusting off her microphone.
Luigi shrugged meekly as he chuckled nervously. "I'm the guy who avoids paying taxes. You know you don't have to-"
Suddenly the lights began to flicker, with everything shutting off as Luigi received angry stares from Falco and Jigglypuff. The green plumber screamed as he was then attacked by the two Smashers, with several police cars popping up on the scene.
"This is the police! Come out with your hands up, you tax avoider!" A blue clothed R.O.B. police officer stated as he held a Super Scope in his metal hands.
Falco and Jigglypuff held up a badly beaten Luigi as they looked at each other, wondering if they should turn him in or beat him up even more.
