It was frustrating, it really was. Sometimes it took all of her effort to hold back a scream. Couldn't he see it? The way she looked at him and the way he looked back at her, like he had never believed in anyone else before, like this was new and special. For a 900 and something Time-Lord with enhanced senses and an IQ double that of a genius, he could really be quite thick.

Every time Rose woke up she would have those three unspoken words on her lips, the words that would change everything, that would either make or break their relationship, the words that could take their relationship and turn it into something fierce and unbreakable. I love you.

She always had. She loved him, admired him, even when his ears were big and he smiled a different smile. She had loved him, and she couldn't help it. But the daft man couldn't see it, and he couldn't see his own hearts wanting it too. She wouldn't make her move first, he would have to realise it himself. So every time, those same three words on her mouth, she fought back the urge to say them aloud; he might hear her.

If you're confused, don't worry. Most of my fic's are written late at night, when my mind won't shut up, and I almost confused myself typing this up in the morning. Love it? Hate it? Have a prompt for me? Let me know.

Love Rose
