Cookies, Newts and Cain
A sweet aroma wafted in from the kitchen of the Dragon Eye compound. Cain peeked out to see Moordryd busy with Deseptshun and Coershun. He tied back the pink frilly apron as he mixed the ingredients for his cookies. He walked out to go get something, hanging the apron on a peg in the wall. He went to his room for a maximum of TEN minutes to get his recipe sheet. He walked back and let loose a harsh yell at the sight of Artha Penn. "Moordryd!! What the hell is the scaling stablebrat doing here!?"
He pointed an accusing finger at the dark-haired boy leaning on Moordryd. His hands were bound and he glared at his captor. Cain shrugged as Moodryd gave an evil grin; he went back into the kitchen to finish his cookies. He placed on the apron as Moordryd chuckled quietly. Cain rolled his eyes and began to mix the batter for his cookies.
Moordryd let a sweat drop fall as the clatter began to rise from out of the kitchen and untied the glowering teenager. One quick kiss was shared and they glanced around, No one in sight. They went into a secluded corner of the compound where Moordryd could still see Cain but Cain could not see Artha… Cain whistled patiently as the cookies were mixed with perfection. A loud yell pieced the silence as Cain ran out, white as a sheet... "NEEEWWWWTTTSS! In my kitchen!!!!"
He neglected to notice the small newt hanging on his apron and Artha stifled a laugh…..Moordryd saw Rancydd and rolled his eyes as Cain spotted the chortling teen. He pulled off the apron and strolled casually over to his friend….
"Rancydd, these wouldn't be YOUR newts? Are they?" Rancydd stammered as Cain balled a fist and landed it hard on the opposing shoulder. He then noticed the newt on his back and screamed. "GAH! Get it off! GET it off!! GET IT OFF!!!!!!!"
Artha shot a look over to Moordryd as they leaned close together. "So….When are the cookies gonna be done?"
