"Why must we wear strangers shoes?"
""Because that's what you do when you bowl, Ziva."
"Unless you have your own, like me."
"Not helping, Abby."
"Abigail, may I again ask why you've brought us here?"
Abby Scuito looked around at her friends and said, "It's Jingle Bowl night!"
McGee, Ziva, Ducky and Palmer blinked at her while Gibbs gave her a little smile. Tony had already been abducted by the nun's on Abby's bowling team to help them carry their balls. He was the only one she'd managed to get to the alley on a previous night, and the sisters just loved him.
"Jingle…Bowl?" Ziva said, slowly as though unsure the words truly went together. She leaned toward McGee and whispered, "Am I missing something?"
"No, we're all lost," he assured her.
"It's a charity bowling party," Abby said. "You guys get to be my team!"
McGee looked around. "What about Tony?"
Abby shook her head. "We're not getting him back from the sisters anytime soon. They just love him."
Gibbs looked over to where his senior field agent was catering to the whims of a pack of tiny, little, elderly nuns. "I should take notes."
"Be nice, Gibbs. It's Christmas."
