A/N: I received a prompt from Shecami on tumblr requesting a little of what it would be like if Shamy had a baby. This is a very short but (hopefully) sweet little story I put together. I hope you all enjoy!

Sheldon dipped the baby spoon in the pureed carrot jar then zoomed it up to his daughter's mouth. "Here comes the choo choo train!"

"Twain!" Leah squealed, as she flailed her tiny arms and opened her mouth obediently.

Sheldon turned to his wife with a horrified look on his face. "Oh, dear Lord! She sounds like Kripke."

Amy chuckled. "She's just a baby. Her pronunciation will get better with time."

"I sure hope so." Leah made a grabbing motion with her hand, and he fed her another spoonful. "Leah, can you say train?" He asked, carefully pronouncing the word.

"Twain!"

"No, train."

"Twain!"

Amy rubbed his tense shoulders. "She'll get it eventually."

After spending the entire lunch trying to teach his daughter the correct pronunciation, they moved to the living room where a box of toys awaited. Leah happily stacked building blocks and sorted colored rings by size on a cone as her parents sat next to her on the carpet.

A few minutes later, Sheldon stood and disappeared into the bedroom then emerged wearing his conductor hat. In his hand was his prized Thomas the Tank Engine. He set the toy near his daughter and got her attention.

"Leah, who is this?"

Leah stretched out her arm and picked up the blue plastic train, turning it over to examine it from all angles. "Twain!"

"Yes, it's a train, and his name is Thomas. Can you say Thomas for Daddy?"

The little girl scrunched up her nose at him then turned her gaze to the toy, placing it on the floor where she proceeded to roll it back and forth. Amy made chugging sounds, and Sheldon joined in with the occasional "Whoo! Whoo!" and accompanying train whistle motions. A smiling Leah clapped her hands and happily shrieked, "Twain!"

Instead of trying to correct her again, Sheldon kissed the top of her head then rewarded her with the conductor hat, which immediately fell over her eyes. Leah pushed the hat higher on her forehead, but it flopped down over her eyes again. Amy lifted the brim and peeked in at her, eliciting the little one's sweet baby laugh.

"You are adorable, just like your Daddy," she cooed.

"I am not adorable," Sheldon retorted, though the corners of his mouth twitched up.

Leah pushed the hat off her head and handed it back to him. "Daddy hat."

Sheldon graciously accepted it and placed it back on his head. "We'll try again when you've grown a little more," he promised.

The little girl rolled the train next to his legs then crawled onto his lap and scooped up the toy and held it tight. He wrapped one arm protectively around his little girl.

"Adorable," Amy reiterated, as she leaned into her husband's side and rested her head on his shoulder.
