Claire walked down the empty hall of her new school. First day of school and you're already late. Great job Claire. She thought. Claire snuck into the classroom, hoping the teacher wouldn't notice her tardiness. No such luck. The teacher scowled at her and motioned for her to find a seat. Claire found an empty seat at one of the tables. "Is this seat taken?" She asked.
Kyle looked up at her. "Nope." he replied.
Claire sat down and placed her books on the table in front of her. "I'm Claire." she said, introducing herself.
"Kyle."
He's cute. She thought. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
