Dark Adrenaline

Heart beats fast, pulse races, palms sweat,
Feeling faint, pain engulfs my senses.
A pain which I take pleasure in.
A pain I endure willingly every day when I'm with you.
You're every movement causes my breath to hitch and with each word you speak you send daggers into my heart.
I'd rather go through this suffering than spend even a day without you by my side: it hurts just to imagine my life without you
I can't take it, I can't I just- can't.
It's an addiction.
You are my drug.
Your love sends a dark adrenaline coursing through my veins,
Spreading inside me like a cancerous tumour growing into contiguous tissue.
It's deadly- but I don't mind.
Death is inevitable, and if death means an eternity with you:
Bring it.
