Note: I was watching this episode and theres one part where Daniel is bouncing a rubber ball which is something that Jack always did and then this little story was born. Enjoy!

Her eyes followed the ball as it bounced from the floor to the column back to his waiting hands. The sounds were making her anxious but even more, they reminded her of something.
Thump. Thump. Catch.
Or rather... someone.
Back in the begining, when they first started SG-1 about nine years ago Sam could count on one hand all the similarities between Colonel Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson. But now, she saw more and more of him in Daniel everyday.
Like this for instance.
Thump. Thump. Catch.
This had always been his thing. His annoying habit. And now, as she followed the pesky rubber ball's progress to his hands she saw a different person attached to those hands. A different body with a different face, Daniel's face.
Thump. Thump. Catch.
She smiled a little, at least she could tell Daniel what she had been dying to say to her CO for years, "Could you stop that?"
