Destiny: The Complete Story

A long time ago, in a place far, far away...

Random Guy: Hey! That's the wrong franchise.

Narrator: Well I'm sorry, I just so happen to like Star Wars.

Random Guy #2: Just get on with the story will ya'.

Narrator: Very well, but first let me say that I don't own Destiny and will be using direct quotes from the game. This is my first fanfic, so please be gentle. I would also like to note that I read a lot of fanfic and my writing style is comprised of several others, so if you see something similar to what you wrote or some else, I'm not trying to steal it, it just means that I liked how it sounded.

Chapter 1: A Guardian Rises!

We called it the Traveler, and it arrival changed us forever... Great cities were built on Mars and Venus... Mercury became a garden world.

Human life span tripled... It was a time of miracles... We stared out at the galaxy and knew it was our destiny to walk in the light of other star, - but the Traveler had an enemy.

A Darkness, which had hunted it for eons across the black gulfs of space.

Centuries after our Golden Age, this Darkness found us...

And that was the end of everything.

But it was also a beginning.

Location: Earth, Cosmodrome, Old Russia, 1:47 PM:

"Guardian... Guardian? Eyes up guardian."

Light glared into eyes long unused, "Where am I?" Asked the newly labeled 'guardian'.

"It worked! Your alive! You don't know how long I've be looking for you! I'm a Ghost. Actually, now I'm your Ghost. And you... Well, you've been dead a long time. So, you're going to see a lot of things that you won't understand."

"Wha, what going on. Where am I! What are you! ... Who am I?!", asked the confused woman. She couldn't remember anything! Not her name or what she looked like. All she could remember where bits and pieces of what seemed to be her childhood.

Roar!

"This is Fallen territory. We aren't safe here. I have to get you to the city." At that the strange ball like... machine glowed blue and vanished. What was going on? At least the ball.. Ghost knew what was going on.

"Don't worry, I'm still with you. We need to move, fast."

"What the hell, that sounded like the ghost but, no, it's not possible, is he in my head?", the confused Guardian thought. She needed to get out of there, she didn't know what Fallen were but judging by that roar... Yea, gotta move.

"We won't survive long in the open like this. Let's get inside the Wall"

"Wall? What wall?" Looking around she saw nothing but rusty cars, skeletons, and water. Turning around the guardian said, "Oh, that wall." There was indeed a wall. The structure was huge, made from metal and concrete, it stretched in ether direction as far as the eye could see.

"Why would they build a wall this big. Well, Ghost did say that I've been dead a long time. Then again, sense have I been so rational." Deciding that going into the metal monstrosity was better than meeting the Fallen, the guardian began jogging in the direction on the wall. "Wow, what happened to me." Looking down at her body, the guardian noticed that she was in much better shape than she remembered, well, she thinks he remembered. Now, she wasn't fat before her death but she sure wasn't like she was now. Before she died, the guardian had a lanky frame and was shorter than average but not excessively so. Now, whilst retaining the same body type (lanky, I case you ask), she was built like a swimmer, strong arms and legs but not ripped. He muscle were now compact, similar to a runners but not exactly to that extent. Her new body was agile but could still pack a punch.

"Well, that's new but not unwelcome." Deciding to ask Ghost about her new body later, the guardian quickened her pace towards the Wall.

"Ok... I need to find you a weapon before the Fallen find us." Said Ghost, "But first, over there. A dead guardian. Take his gear, you'll need it if we plan on getting you to the City."

"Umm... Are you sure I can do that. I mean he is dead, but don't you think he'd like to left alone?" While the guardian knew it would be a good idea to have some form of protection against the Fallen, she just didn't feel right about take someone else's gear, even if they were dead.

"Don't worry," Assured the ghost, "I'm sure he would want you to have his gear. You'll need to to survive."

Nodding her head, albeit reluctantly, the new guardian approached his deceased comrade. Looking over the robe like armor. She suddenly realized that she had no idea what she was doing.

"Umm... Ghost, a little help?" She asked tentatively.

"Sigh, give me a minute." Was the half hearted reply form the machine. A few second later and the ghost was scanning the dead guardian.

"Strange, what is he planing on doing?" The guardian was about to ask when the gear suddenly glowed blue and vanished into tiny blue particle.

"Hold still." Commanded Ghost. Complying with her partner's command, the guardian stood perfectly still as the ghost repeated the same process on her as he did the dead guardian. After several more seconds that seemed like minutes. A blue light surrounded the guardian and a few moments later stepped out in her new gear.

"That was awesome." Whispered the awe stricken women. She checked out her new gear and preformed a few stretches before she deemed herself fit for action.

"Ok, now that your ready to go, we need to get moving and find you a weapon." Nodding in agreement the new guardian resumed her trek though the Wall.

Clank!

"Quite, they're right above us." Informed Ghost. Heart racing in her chest, the new guardian continued moving forward, deeper into the wall.

The guardian watched, adrenaline pumping through her veins, as a creature scuttled up a pipe in the wall right next to her. She had noticed that her new helm had a strange circle in the top left corner. After informing her ghost of this discovery, he explained that it was a motion sensor and showed where enemies we around her. After walking for several minutes, she noticed that one of the of the eight section had become red. Leading to her current predicament to hiding be hind a crate watching a Fallen go up the wall. "What the point of a wall if you enemy's can go through it?" She continued walking up several flights of stairs until she reached a large cavern.

"Hang tight, Fallen thrive in the dark, we won't. We need more light. I'll see what I can do." Said the ghost as he appeared before the guardian and flew off to find the light switches.

"Another one of these hardened military systems... And a few centuries of entropy waking against me." Did he just make a joke? "No, it's not possible he's just a machine, this changes everything." After several moments of standing in the dark, the light flickered on with a lot moe noise to be expected, allowing the new guardian to see Fallen littering the walls and support beams.

Ghost came flying down from the ceiling, "They're coming for us!" Behind the ghost were several flying objects.

"Ah shit, this cannot end well."

And done. First chapter of my first fanfic. Just a reminder, I need constructive criticism, flames are not appreciated but I will take they into account . I also need help writing from a female perspective, my warlock in destiny is a female and I want to use her as a base but I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing that. My over all plan for this story is to follow the Destiny plot, ya' know, just write a chapter or two for each mission. I am planing on including a training arc and some made up missions but I'll need so help with those too. So, I'm asking if you guys will send in characters that you use or have made up, I'll review them and decide within one I wanna use. Please give them normal names.

Over and out,
