Opposites attract.
He'd heard this saying before, but he'd never really believed it. Couples always seemed to have a lot in common. Same job, same hobbies, same taste in music and movies… But him and Lorelai?
Nothing alike.
Different eating habits, different opinions, very different tastes in music and movies… They only things they seemed to share were their stubbornness and eye color.
Why, then?
They complimented each other.
She was a talker, he was a listener. He was predictable, she was spontaneous. She had problems, and he fixed them. And on rare occasion, it was the other way around.
They had a rhythm. They were totally in sync.
They were completely different.
And they wouldn't have it any other way.
