"We talked,

Sharpening a knife,

Like killing Partners for a life,"

Dipper hummed the tune, and let the wonderful sound of Wendy Corduroy do the singing.

"Hey,

We can hide the bodies

On the ride home,"

He rocked back and forth, Wendy next to him. The two had finished their cheesy movie night, and were listening to Wendy's CD's. Wendy had grabbed Foiled, a CD by Blue October, and pushed it in. They both enjoyed listening to the songs, despite some of the rather harsh lyrics. Dipper felt like nothing else mattered, and that he was floating on a cloud, Wendy at his side, high above their problems. Dipper joined in singing with his crush.

"I'll be reaching for the stars with you" He heard Wendy's voice drop off, but he continued singing, focusing his sights on her, making it clear he meant every word he was singing.

"Oh honey!

Who cares, if no one else believes?

So I,

Set fire to everyone around you,

But I told you,

I told you," Dipper smiled as Wendy joined in again.

"We'd do it.

So,

Ha

Ha

Ha

Ha,

Ha

Ha

Ha

Ha,

Yeah we won!" Even though the song continued, they looked into each other's eyes.

"Hey... Wendy?" Dipper stuttered, his facing becoming red. This was his best chance to come clean.

"What is it, Dork?" She responded playfully, gently rubbing a fist by his arm.

"I... I gotta tell you something..." Wendy just nodded along, encouraging the tomato-red boy.

"Go on."

"I... Wait wait a sec." He leaned over and pressed the skip button on the CD player until it read 11 in big red lights. Both new the track by heart, and the song began.

"Somewhere,

Far away from here.

I saw stars.

Stars that I could reach, yeah" Face red, Dipper began.

"When I met you at the beginning of the summer, I had no clue you'd become my best friend... And... Words I'm about to say might change that... And it's more likely to be in a negative way than a positive way, I did the math..." At the boy's last comment, Wendy couldn't help but giggle. Dipper smiled at his companion's light hearted laugh, feeling like it lifted the mood.

"So rest assured,

I have the key to every opening,"

"So, what I'm trying to say is..." He thought it over, and finally said it. "I love you." Wendy smiled, and knowing the next line in the song, kissed the nervous boy's lips.

"I wanna show you just how fascinating kissing is,

When earth collides with all the space between,

Yeah."

All songs used in this one-shot belong rightfully to Blue October, and I take no credit for making them what so ever.

Author's note:

I have this CD and have been listening to it a lot lately. A lot of these songs remind me of WendyXDipper, or some that are just for specific characters. Expect to see a TON of song fics like this.

My next post will either be the next chapter of Monster Falls, or another song-fic.

My next song-fic is going to be another Blue October song, Into The Ocean. It is just going to be Dipper on his own in the fic. The song just reminds me so much of him.

Hope you enjoyed!
