The resurgence

A faction calling themselves the Beastkin sent a terrorist message to ever international political power. The message is as follows:
On March 22nd of 2001, the Beastkin, a more evolved race than humanity, will conquer the world and humans shall be our slaves. All Beastkin traitors must have disappeared by that date or they will be hunted down and publicly executed.

On March 22nd of 2001, the Beastkin attacked. By March 30th, the Beastkin were the uncontested rulers of the world. March 22nd was made International Resurgence Memorial Day, as the Beastkin described it, in honor of the Beastkin Resurgence as they fought to reclaim their rightful place as masters of humanity.
