Sans opened his eyes and looked down at his chest. The deep cut was gone once again, although, he could still feel it as if it happened five seconds ago. For all he knew, it did happen five seconds ago.
It didn't take him many resets to realise that Chara was a bloodthirsty and heartless beast that would take pleasure in stabbing someone over and over again. He sighed; he could see the human coming towards him once more.
"Once again, it's time to be judged." he muttered.
He didn't want to fight. Yet, he knew that he wouldn't be able to live with himself and go back to his and Paperus' house if he didn't.
Sans wasn't afraid of death.
If he finally died without a reset that would bring him back to lifeā¦He'd never have to face that house and its memories ever again. He wouldn't face any nightmares about the people he knew, dying. There was no one left in Snowdin other than him. Even the ones who he'd casually stop in the middle of the day to share a pun with were no longer there.
Yet...this didn't mean that he wanted to die.
He was filled with determination. With the thought that he'd protect Papyrus in all the other timelines if he stopped Chara right here.
Sans was just about to land his first attack when everything went blurry.
*True reset*
He didn't know if the big head which seemed to be staring at both him and Chara whilst muttering the words "He's a hard bastard to defeat, after all. I'll just do the pacifist route again,"was created by his imagination or if it was truly real.
Sans awoke from his slumber when a child walked past his sleeping body, without noticing him.
A few minutes later Sans said:
*Don't you know how to greet a new pal?
It lead the player to start gritting his teeth. The player spat out "I'll kill you soon, Sans," at the computer screen.
What the player didn't know was that Sans was staring right at him with a grin.
*Kid, did you hear someone talking carp? Welp, I think my hunger is affecting my hearing.
The player screamed. He couldn't move for a few minutes from the shock. Finally he put on his creepy smile and growled:
"Right, you lousy skeleton. It's on."
His freaky laughter could be heard at Toby Fox's place. Toby looked up at the ceiling in defeat.
"Does anyone actually learn anything from the game?"
