I Want You, Always Forever
It was forever they would remember that night, that cold evening as the snow descended upon them, their hands linked in a loose grasp. The cold flakes clung to their skin only to dissolve a second later, leaving a soft chill in its place. The silence was deafening, yet strangely calming as neither wanted to break the frail illusion surrounding them. Moments like these came rarely for the two.
It was in the aftermath of yet another one of Naruto's notorious attempts to bring Sasuke back to Konoha that the two found themselves exhausted to the point neither could move. Not that they wanted to. Two months, four days, and eleven hours, give or take on the minutes, had passed since their last encounter. Naruto himself had counted.
The sound of crushed snow echoed off into the night when Naruto turned his head to stare at Sasuke's strangely peaceful face, his need for the other eventually growing too intense to ignore.
Sasuke looked like a princess waiting for his truelove's kiss to wake her up. He was by no means trying to demean his friend. He knew quite well Sasuke was a strong male and not some weak lady in need of rescuing. Without uttering a sound he shifted closer, eventually earning Sasuke's interest as he hovered over the older teen. A moment was spent simply staring into each other eyes before their lips met mutually in a chaste kiss.
Though it only lasted for a short moment of time a tingle of warmth and something sweet lingered on their lips as they separated and Naruto fell back to his original position. Sasuke turned his head to look into the other's eyes and spoke with a certain sadness attached to his voice. "It's useless Naruto."
The blond drew a long breath to steel himself already too familiar with the topic, more than he wanted to. "It's not useless when I know how you feel." He objected though his voice remained calm.
"What I feel doesn't matter. Give up." Sasuke pushed frowning slightly. Though he did not want to admit he held such emotions it pained him knowing Naruto would never give up. He wanted the blond to be happy but if he continued chasing after Sasuke the way he was, that would never happen. "Please." He added after a moment of silence.
However, like always, Naruto stood his ground. "I'll never give up Sasuke. I will save you."
Leaving a short silence, Sasuke snorted. "Hn, being saved is overrated."
