Prologue: The Arrival of Luna D'Canto
It was dark and windy in Bayville as the black hooded figure dashed across the lawn of the mansion of Charles Xavier to the front door. How'd she'd made it past the mansion's security systems was beyond her but she was thankful for it. The sooner she got to the front door, the happier she'd be.
The hood of her robe came off and her long, white blonde hair was exposed, shimmering in the moonlight. She paid no attention to it, grabbing onto her cloak and holding on to her bag with all her might. She concentrated herself on getting herself to the door.
Somehow, someway, she reached the door in record time and threw herself at it, pounding as hard as she could.
When the door opened to reveal a young man with short brown hair and shades, she gasped and cried, "Please, help me."
"Okay, okay" the young man said. "I'll help you. Just tell me what your name is and what's wrong with you."
"My name is Luna D'Canto and I'm a mutant." She replied. "My parents threw me out of the house and I have no place else to go. Could you put me up for the night? Please?"
The guy who'd opened the door smiled and nodded. "Sure, come on in."
