#87 Food
They slowly made their way through the desert to return to Sunagakure no Sato. "Gaara, can we please take a break?" Temari asked pleadingly.
"Fine," Gaara stated coldly.
"Do we have anything to eat?" Kankuro asked hopefully.
"No," Temari said sadly. "We eat it all on the way here. I am so hungry, I haven't eaten anything today."
"Quit complaining," Gaara ordered. "If you're so hungry, go find some food."
"We are in the desert, Gaara," Kankuro stated affirmatively. "There isn't anything to eat around here. Everything that was here probably already moved on."
"How about we eat you then?" Gaara suggested.
"That wouldn't work, Gaara," Temari said, "For he is mostly all fat."
"Temari, that was mean," Kankuro complained.
"Gaara can you go find us something to eat?" Temari asked sweetly.
"Fine," Gaara replied, "but you better not complain about what I bring back."
"Temari and Kankuro nodded to show they understood the stipulations.
After the meat was cooked, the siblings started to eat. "Mmmm, this is good," Temari said happily.
"What is it Gaara?" Kankuro asked.
"Oh, just some guy I found in the desert," Gaara replied calmly.
"Ewww," both Temari and Kankuro said as they spit the food onto the ground.
"That's disgusting Gaara," Temari stated.
Gaara started to laugh hysterically. Temari and Kankuro looked shocked, and confused. "I was only joking," Gaara stated through chuckles. "It is only rabbit meat."
