OK, so, this has just been floating around in my head for a couple of hours, and I literally wrote it in about ten minutes. It's pretty short, and takes place a while after Chair Model, like, kind of way after. Lots of fluff! Enjoy!
The sun shone through the curtains, slowly waking Jim Halpert. He rolled over, sighing, and immediately smiled when his gaze rested on the woman beside him. Her auburn hair was like gold in the morning. He reached out to stroke a soft lock of it out of her face.
She blinked slowly at his touch, looking up at him. "Morning, Mr. Halpert," she said drowsily, smiling back at him.
"Morning, Beasly." He grinned. It still quite escaped his imagination how after years of longing, years of knowing she'd never leave her fiance, here she was, his Pam, laying in his bed on a beautiful Sunday morning.
But something was wrong.
Pam was frowning.
"What's wrong?" he asked, the smile sliding off his face.
"Aren't you forgetting something, Jim?"
He propped himself up on one elbow, looking puzzled. "What? Oh, did I forget to put my boxers on again? Sorry 'bout that." He smiled, raising an eyebrow.
"No, not that," she said, giggling.
"I forgot to buy milk? Eggs? Left the stove on? C'mon, Beasly, you're not helping much."
She laughed quietly and kissed the tip of his nose. "You seem to have forgotten all about the events of last Saturday afternoon."
Realization flooded over him. "OH!" He smacked himself on the forehead, causing her to laugh even more.
"Quite sorry, dear." He grinned, shaking his head. "I stand corrected. Good morning, Mrs. Halpert," he said, and kissed his wife tenderly.
Awhh. That was really fun to write. xD Do you guys think I should continue it? Make a sequel? Companion? Keep it a oneshot? Give me your opinions, people, because I'm obviously unable to make a decision on my own! xD Also, don't forget to review, please?
