Disclaimer: Well, let's just say I don't own Animal Crossing or any of the
characters. I do, however, own the game, and am very happy with it.
Note: This will be done in a script format. I will surround the sentence with :::'s when someone is thinking or having a thought. Okies!
Moving is Always Fun
::: Wow. I'm finally moving out. I've always thought that moving away from home would be a scary idea, but this is actually exciting! Many people told me I was crazy to move into a town filled with animals. And maybe it is, but who cares? I don't and that's all that matters. This train moves pretty fast. Hey, why is that cat walking towards me?:::
"Hey, what's your name?" questioned the cat.
"It's Parris."
"Heh, what a funny name! Well, what town are you heading off to?" he asked.
"Dorgue."
"Well, catch you later! I have to go catch the new reality show, Animal Idol: The search for a superstar," said the strange cat as he walked away.
:::What a funny cat. He sure seemed anxious to meet me. Well, I wonder what my apartment that I bought over the Internet looks like? Hey, the train is stopping! Time to get off.:::
Parris trudged off towards the gleaming city of Dorgue. He asked for directions on how to get to his new apartment. When he walked into his new home, he looked around. There was just a small room with two windows and a cardboard box in the corner.
:::Well, this is certainly new. I guess it'll have to do for the time being, though. Time to unpack.:::
Just then there was a knock at the door. Parris answered it and a small raccoon stepped in.
"Why hello there," said Parris.
"Hi! My name is Tom Nook. I'm the one who made this apartment. I guess you've noticed that is a little cramped, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience," apologized Tom.
"I like it, I really do. But I just have to ask, is there anyway I can upgrade it? You know, make it bigger?" requested Parris.
"Well, time is money, and money is, uh, green and. well. nevermind. See you around!" called back Tom.
::: I sure do hope that the rest of the animals in this town are as friendly as he is! He seemed a little on the dense side, though. However, he was the first animal to say hi, not including that strange cat on the train. I think I'll go outside and make some more friends.:::
Parris walked outside, and pulled a weed on the grass in front of his house, due to some strange urge. He hummed a catchy tune to a band he saw on television the other day. Suddenly, a purple cat in a strangely unfitting dress walked towards him.
"Hello there, kid," said the cat.
"Hi, what's your name?"
"My name is Bob, it's like the sound of my head hitting against the wall."
:::Uh oh. It seems I've stumbled onto another dense character. Do I attract them or something?:::
Bob smiled and waved goodbye. Parris walked back to his crammed apartment and thought of all the things that had happened. He decided to sleep on it. His last thought before his head hit the pillow was what would happen tomorrow.
To be continued of course. Thank-you for reading my story, it means a lot. Maybe you could hit that review link on your way out. Thanks again!
