It started off with a kiss how did it end up like this,
It was only a kiss,
It was only a kiss

What does a kiss mean? Really? I have no idea, there are so many different kinds. The one that you would give your mum, dad or sister, the kind you'd give Aunty Audrey and the kind that me and Kira shared, at midnight, at the top of the astronomy tower while the rain came crashing around us. They don't teach classes about it at Hogwarts (and Minnie wasn't particularly receptive to the idea when James suggested it,) so who am I supposed to ask – Dad? No he'll just laugh and tell Kira's dad as a joke and then Uncle Lee will try to kill me. Mum then? No! Definitely not happening, knowing my Mum it will be all over the family in a bout five seconds flat.
If I were a girl this would be so much easier. I saw Roxy after Patrick Wood kissed her for the first time, and when they broke up, and when they got back together. But I'm not a girl. I don't giggle or weep or shriek. And I don't have a clue what to do. Friends don't give advice. They prank and pass notes and complain together. They let each other copy their homework and bail each other out of detention, but they most certainly do not give advice.
I can't ask Roxy either (though she'd probably be the best option – she's been with Patrick for three years now, not counting the once or twice or twenty times that they've broken up before getting back together almost immediately.) She and Kira are practically best friends. Besides, Roxy's not exactly tactful, she's probably outright ask Kira what was going on.
I was getting desperate. So desperate in fact that I considered asking Trelawney to read my tea leaves and tell me what was going on when I came up with a solution. A terrifying, crazy, impossible solution. I could just ask her.
