Trapped!
The biggest storm blows in and Mikan just had to be stuck in a cabin in the middle of nowhere in the storm with Him.
Natsume didn't like this situation he was in but had to make the best of it for now. Even if he had to spend the whole night with her.
"This just had to happen. You wanted to stay so badly and now we're stuck in this freaking blizzard because you thought we were being watched and followed an old man for an hour over him stalking a young girl who was his granddaughter." Mikan complained.
"I was making sure. He looked suspicious and I didn't trust him." Why was he stuck with her? "You could have just left me there."
Mikan could have. but that wasn't her style. "We got this assignment together. I'm not leaving my partner. Even if it's you, Natsume."
With a sigh, he sat down on the couch and watched the fire burn while hearing the storm. "This wasn't predicted."
"Of course not! The weather is always like that. And it snows once a month here." Mikan did her homework for once. But she was with Natsume so someone had to know what they needed to know.
"Whatever, strawberry-"
"Say that and I will run out in that storm back to the academy without you!" She hated that name.
No one said a word. "We better find some food around here," Natsume said. He got up and looked around. "I can cook something if you tell me what you find," Mikan said.
Natsume scoffed. Like he wanted anything she cooked. He looked around but all he could find was-
"Chips?"
"Here. All we got. Eat up." Was all he could say.
Mikan wasn't going to complain. The chips were old and stale but Natsume does get mad easily.
"You don't have too. There bad after all."
Mikan was shocked. He really cared? No. He probably just wanted them for himself. "No! I'll be fine eating this. You will not have my-"
Branches brittle and break. Both of them were quiet.
"What is the-"
Natsume put out the fire and jumped on Mikan covering her big mouth with his hand. "Quiet!"
Mikan was wide-eyed as she saw Natsume so close to her. On top of her. Just like when they first met.
Natsume removed his hand and sighed with relief. Seeing Mikan's face so close didn't faze him. But he liked being like this.
"Please get off of me," Mikan whispered. She wasn't scared of the noise, but she was afraid of what Natsume would do to her.
Natsume did what she asked. "Get ready to run." He said.
"Why?"
"Because they came in the house. I stay here and fight."
"Like I'm leaving you here to fight alone."
"You have no Alice."
It was true. She didn't have one. But she still can be stupid. "I don't care. I will stay with you."
Natsume was going to argue further but there was no more time. "Now! Run!" He yelled.
Mikan grabbed Natsume's hand and they both ran as fast as they could go.
"There! Stop!"
There was too many for Natsume to fight on his own. "Ow." Someone grabbed her hair. "Take this!" Mikan yells swinging her bag and bang.
Natsume was surprised the guy went down. "What is in that bag?"
Mikan smiled and opened it. "Bricks and Wrenches."
Holy- No time! Both of then ran again and before they knew it there was the academy.
"Mikan get ready!" Natsume said.
Before Mikan could answer he grabbed her, picked her up, and threw her over the wall.
Natsume then jumped hoping that the guys wouldn't catch him.
Both were in luck that they made it back. "This storm sucks."
Mikan laughed. "At least we're both here together."
Mikan's smile was irritating him. But he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek to make her stop. "Let's go." But as he walked ahead.
"NATSUME!" Mikan chased him with her bag of bricks and wrenches.
