"It's late, Kal. How long are you going to stay there?" the bandaged brunette stared at his superior. How long was he going to stay in his office? Keh, until he had found his old comrade, that's for sure!
"I'll finish these first, Miroku-sama," he pointed at the stack of paperwork on his desk, "Then I'll get some rest." Miroku didn't looked convinced, but left nonetheless.
After making sure that Miroku wasn't around anymore, he put down his pen and left the paperworks unattended. He had something more important to do right now. Kal leaned against his chair, trying to think back. Landkarte's message at the Records of Cuvere. It somehow intrigued him. So that loafer also managed to get into Barsburg Imperial Army. How or when, he had absolutely no idea. But honestly, it was quite shocking to know that that loafer managed to infiltrate the army.
Thinking back, everything his best friend did recently was really weird. From attacking the fellow Ghosts, almost killing him, his words, his wicked smile, everything! He unconsciously banged a fist on his desk. It's unimaginable! That moron, he's that black shadow for sure! Why did he do all this? For what reason?
It suddenly popped into his head. 'Don't tell me that Landkarte...' He thought. Landkarte must've wanted that! He thought about his life with his beloved compatriot more and more as he broke down. If he could cry, he most definitely would. Why didn't he realize that change in Landkarte earlier? With a pained expression, he cleaned his desk and went out of the room, leaving his work undone.
'Landkarte... If only I have realized sooner... I'm sorry I couldn't save you...'
Kal left a file named 'Katsuragi' on his desk. Number one person suspected to be that annoying loafer. He would check on him tomorrow.
Hahah LOL it is so horribly short xD I wish I could make it longer tho, I kinda want more, more, more! Nyah, anyway, I didn't reveal what was Landkarte's intention on doing this since I don't really want to spoil... Though I spoiled that Landkarte is that black shadow AND Katsuragi...
