((A/N: This is based off of something that happened at school last week. Obviously there were a few differences, including no drunk people, but it's somewhat similar. Next fic will probably be a crack fic about cheerleading, because I'm a cheerleader and really want to write about it.))

All seemed to be normal in the Nordic household. Denmark was being loud and obnoxious, Sweden was trying to talk to Finland, and Norway and Iceland were minding their own business. Norway was currently upstairs on the computer, and Iceland was in his room, probably talking to someone on the phone. Suddenly, Norway heard yelling downstairs. This time, it wasn't Denmark doing all the yelling. It was Sweden and Finland. How unusual, he thought. Sweden was quiet and disliked raising his voice, and Finland wasn't really one to yell at others. Then footsteps started up the stairs, gradually growing louder and louder. About thirty seconds later, there was a knock on the door. Norway walked over to open it, only to see Sweden staring down at him with a sad-looking face.

"Hey Sve. What's wrong?"

"Denmark. I'm not happy with him."

Norway was a bit confused. "What'd he do?"

"Made fun of me and Finland. Made us break up."

That Denmark. Norway knew how obnoxious he was. They'd tried dating a while ago, but that lasted only for a week. "Come on in."

Sweden sat down on Norway's bed and Norway sat back down in the swivel chair he'd been in while on the computer. After Sweden was comfortable, Norway spoke. "What exactly happened?"

"I was sitting with Finland on the couch when Denmark walked in. He told me how bad Finland and I looked together. Said I'm better off alone. Then he ran off, and I don't know why, but I listened to Denmark and broke up with Finland. I don't know what I was doing."

Norway was a bit puzzled. Sure, Denmark was a bit of a pain in the butt, but he would never insult one of his friends. "Did he seem drunk?"

"A little bit."

"Then why don't you talk to Finland? Here, I'll come with you."

Sweden stood up and followed Norway downstairs to where Finland was. He seemed to be crying a little bit. Norway started to speak. "Finland?"

"Yes?"

"Sweden would like to talk to you for a minute."

Norway stepped aside, letting Sweden talk to Finland. Norway sat down in the chair nearby, as Sweden sat near Finland, talking to him. After a few minutes, Norway saw Sweden and Finland hug each other.

There's nothing better than giving a friend a hand.
