My Sanctuary

Summary: Kagome is a girl who was born in a small village. Her soul yearns to be free, to rise with the rising sun and to set with the setting sun. SessXKag.

Author's note: This is just something I came up with this morning. I just finished reading The Fire Demons and Artemis Fowl, and I suddenly got this idea. It just kept coming onto the paper, I don't think I've ever seen my hand move so fast. The pen had a mind of it's own…and here it is. It may be stupid but, hey, blame the pen.

Sanctuary (Meaning): A sacred place / or the holiest part of a sacred place.

Prologue of a Sanctuary

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

The calm winds blow, sweeping softly across the hill. The setting sun peers over the mountaintop once more, brining the most beautiful sense of gold to the hill. Not many speak, yet many sigh. Not many cry, yet many die. That is how it is, how it has always been, and yet, how it will continue to be.

The hill is the entrance to the land of hopes. Useless, maybe, to a greedy, selfish, impulsive human. But to those who spend the time to gaze at the sunset wordlessly, the hill is a sanctuary.

A sanctuary unclosed, a sanctuary left open, to hope for a day when freedom will rise like the rising sun over the mountaintop and it will sweep across the land and even the most powerful mastery could not, would not conquer it.

But all those hopes are locked away in the cool, ever darkening sanctuary.

But a hope rises above all, a hope that when, even when, darkness falls over the land, there will be people who will hope for light…it is a hope for hope.

And those who hope for light and brilliance are those who are good, who will stand up when all falls.

But those who do something for their hopes are the ones who are worthy.

Author's note towards the story : Yes, this is short. The reason why is that it is the prologue.

Author's note: I am trying hard to complete my other stories. My mood lately has been switching and does not wish to complete some stories. Please give suggestions if you feel like doing so. Each and every review is greatly appreciated, helpful or not, Encouraging, or not, it is always nice to know that someone reads your story and has something to say, rather good or bad.
