Author's note: Hi! So this is my first published fanfic on here that even though it is way past christmas actually is a present for my very patient sister. I have not written in a long time and I've never published before. I welcome critisism but please be kind and don't flame.

Chapter: Waiting for the doctor

"It's raining again."

Mattilda Williams looked up from her magazine towards Alfred who was looking out the window of the doctor's office with boredom written all over his face. And how she wished that could have been a figurative observation. Last night, her brother in his infinate wisdom, had gotten incredibley drunk last night and passed out. Whilst he was unconscious Scotland and England had teamed up to write various words on his face and body.

She shouldn't have been too surprised. As hard as everyone had been partying that night she was surprised he hadn't ended up naked and hanging from the balconey. She shook her head to clear the memories from her mind and looked back down at the article in front of her. Alfred pouted childishly at his sister and looked out the window again. An exclamation point appeared over his head and he smiled impishly.

"Hey, bro..."

Matilda looked up at her sibling in an irritated fashion. He always called her bro when he wanted something - and the favor was usually big when he sang it. "I'm not your 'bro', Al... And stop saying that when you want something! It makes no sense."

"You started out as me brother and you so always shall be!"

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "You're still metabolizing alcohol aren't you?" she asked with a frown. He grinned proudly and her eyes widened in horror. "You drove me here to my appointment drunk? What the hell is wrong with you?" He stared at her innocently and shrugged. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Mattilda massaged the bridge of her nose.

"What did you want to ask me, Al?"

Alfred blinked trying to recall the request and and then gave a shit-eating grin.

"Can I watch you get your physical?"
