Write a drabble of Arthur and Molly in their school years; as in what the pair were doing so late at night when Arthur got caught by the then caretaker and Molly by the fat lady for being out late.
Molly laughed out loud as Arthur pulled her along the grounds.
"Shh!" he whispered back to her, smiling just the same.
Molly closed her lips but kept smiling. They strolled hand in hand until they felt they were a safe distance away from the castle. Then Arthur mounted the broom he had brought with him and helped Molly up. Once they were both on the broom, they took off on their midnight flight with Arthur steering and Molly holding tight to his middle.
They soared among the stars, the air cool and refreshing. Molly's hair whipped behind her, and she held tight to Arthur whenever they turned or descended on his rather rickety broomstick model. It had been a long week of O.W.L.s, and it was nice to finally get a chance to relax and spend time with Arthur.
They finished their ride and decided to sit and watch the moon. It wasn't quite a full moon, maybe three-quarters. Any way you looked at it, it was beautiful. After they felt they had beheld the moon's beauty to its fullest, they stood up. Molly turned on her way back to the castle, but Arthur grabbed her arm and spun her around so he could kiss her.
After a while, they pulled apart. Then Molly said, "We should probably get back into the castle now."
Arthur nodded, picking up his broomstick.
They took off towards the Hogwarts castle, smiling all the way. They sneaked through the corridors. Halfway to the Gryffindor common room they heard footsteps behind them, and they took off running down the hall. Molly found a tapestry to hide behind and beckoned Arthur to join her, but he was too slow to hide behind it before the caretaker, Ms. Pringle, rounded the corner.
"You! What are you doing out of bed?" shrieked Pringle.
"I--er--was patrolling the corridors," explained Arthur.
That won't work! Molly thought. He's not a prefect. She'll see straight through that lie!
"You're not a prefect," Pringle spat.
Molly sighed. She couldn't see what was happening, but she guessed Pringle was dragging Arthur to the Headmaster's office.
When she was sure they were gone, she ran out from behind the tapestry and all the way to Gryffindor tower.
"Merryweather Daisy," she panted.
"Nope. You're late, and the password's been changed," the Fat Lady said before falling asleep again.
Molly slumped against the wall, wondering when Pringle would find her. At least there was one reassuring thought: She would get to see Arthur again.
