Raye Hino was running home from school after a bad day. She knew that she hadn't done to good on a test that she had today and she had gotten a really bad grade on last week's math test.
At the moment, everyone who saw her knew that she wanted to be alone, and she was just fine with that. She didn't want any of their sympathy. She just wanted to be comforted by her crush, Chad Kameda.
He was a rock'n'roll star with dark brown hair that fit around his handsome face perfectly. She sighed sadly to herself as she thought about him. Even though she could of had him as her boyfriend at any time, seeing as how he had a major crush on her, she just wouldn't, couldn't deal with the fact that if they were to get together, her best friend, Serena Tsukino would be proven right about the fact that Raye liked Chad. Raye HATED it when Serena was right, because she usually rubbed it in.
Before Raye knew it, she was at her home, the Shinto Temple. Raye was a priestess in training. Chad helped at the temple, cleaning, helping tourists, that sort of thing.
Raye thought to herself about how good Chad looked in his temple clothes. When she reached the front steps of the temple, she saw Chad there with a broom sweeping leaves away.
"Hi, Master Raye!" Chad called out. He had called her that for awhile. She said that she hated it, but deep down inside, she LOVED his pet name for her. "Hi, Chad," Raye replied sadly. "What's wrong, Raye?" Chad asked, concerned about the girl he loved with all his heart. "What do you mean?" Raye questioned, she had thought that she hid her sadness pretty well! "You didn't yell at me for calling you 'Master Raye', so that's how I knew something was wrong. Did something go wrong at school?" Chad questioned back.
That did it for Raye. "Oh, Chad!" Raye said as she threw herself into his arms and started crying, "Today was just horrible! I got a really bad grade on my math test from last week and I just KNOW that I got a bad grade on my science test from today!" Chad hated seeing Raye cry. It ruined her wonderful spirit that he admired so much. "Shhh. Don't worry, Raye! We all get bad grades in our lives. It's just one of those little things in life. I bet that your next test will go great and he one after that and the one after that and, well, just all of them!" Chad said as the black-haired beauty cried on his shoulder. "Do you really think so?" Raye asked as she looked up at him, tears still in her eyes. "Of course!" Chad replied.
The two looked into each other's eyes, lost in the depths. Slowly, they leaned toward each other and met in a gentle, but passionate, kiss. It lasted for a minute and then they finally broke apart. "I love you, Raye," Chad said softly, a little unsure of how she would reply. "I love you, too, Chad. I always have. I've just been so scared to admit it, but I'm glad that I finally did," Raye replied, making all of Chad's fears go up in smoke. They kissed again, and after awhile, Chad slipped his tongue into Raye's mouth. She was a little startled at this, but soon melted into Chad's arms, wanting this kiss to never end. At that moment, they knew that they had what they had been waiting for all of their lives, each other.
