I do the hand sign for my special clones. 'Lightning clone jutsu!' I shout mentally. Three versions of me appear at my side.
"Congratulations, Akiko, you pass." Mizuki says. I grin and take my headband.
"I hope Naruto passes, it would suck if he doesn't." I mutter to myself, walking over to my friends.
"Hey, Akiko!" Natsuko and Haruko say in sync.
"Hey, guys!" I say brightly, starting to skip.
"I'm going to assume that you passed, because you're really good at Ninjutsu and Genjutsu." Haru-kun says. I pick up my bangs to fully reveal my headband. Haru-kun smirks. "We're probably going to end up on the same team." He says, resting his hands on his hips. I nod in agreement.
"Team eight: Haruko Haruno, Natsuko Uchiha, and Akiko Uzumaki." Iruka-sensei says. All three of us grin and high-five. We listen to Iruka-sensei listing off the rest of the teams. A woman walks in and looks around until she sees us. She walks over to us.
"Haruko, Akiko, and Natsuko?" She asks. We all nod.
"Come on, I'm your sensei, Emi." She says, walking off. We stand up and follow her outside the academy.
"Tell me about yourselves. Starting with blondie." She says when we're all sitting down in a small clearing in the woods.
"Hi." I start, pulling my knee towards my chest. "I'm Akiko Uzumaki. I like eating, sleeping, and practicing my Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. I dislike practicing Taijutsu, most people, and wasting time talking about myself."
"Hm. Next." Emi says, gesturing to Natsuko.
"I'm Natsuko Uchiha. I like drawing, eating, and most of the time training. I hate to fail or screw up." She says.
"I'm Haruko Haruno." Haru-kun says as Emi points to him. "But please call me Haru. I like training, playing Shogi, and singing. I dislike reading."
"Talk about a diverse group." Emi says, laughing. I crack a grin.
"Meet me here at six tomorrow. And don't eat breakfast." She says.
