Senior Citizens Revolt: 3 Injured
Patients of St. Augustine's Senior Center became psychologically unstable when officials there required them to change diets and take pain relievers every 6-12 hours.
When hospital workers noticed that the patients were complaining excessively about aches and pains due to a new workout program, they decided to do something about it. Instead of eliminating the program, which would have caused greater problems, officials decided to create a special diet and require pain relievers at a maximum 4 times a day.
Doctors at St, Augustine's noted that their diets were specifically designed to bring about the release of growth hormones from the pituitary gland. With this, the patients were able to induce their pituitary to secrete extra HGH (Human Growth Hormone) and then emphasize them to their full potential. "This," Dr. Frederick Berg, 54, stated, "Was the science behind the madness. The patients simply weren't able to immunize… and, to be frank, it made them crazy."
2-weeks after the diet was 'well' underway, a group of 3 mentally disturbed patients stirred what doctors' now say was, "unavoidable" turmoil for approximately 6 hours, nonstop. Officials had decided to let the madness take its toll, and indeed it did. The quarter-day-ruckus was finally over when the 3 stopped—complaining of pulled and bruised muscles.
